What Can I Recycle?

 

Items should be rinsed and separated into these categories.

Conway

  • Glass: all colors - bottles & jars
  • Aluminum cans: soda & beer cans
  • Tin cans: pet food, soup, beans, aluminum foil, etc.
  • Plastics #1 - #7: ALL CAPS MUST BE REMOVED. NO black plastic
  • Soft plastic: (plastic that can be stretched) shopping & trash bags, packaging
  • Newspaper & magazines
  • Mixed paper: office paper, junk mail, shredded paper, cereal and cracker boxes, etc.
  • Corrugated cardboard: FLATTENED
  • Fluorescent light bulbs
  • Rechargeable batteries

Bartlett/Jackson

  • Glass: all colors - bottles & jars
  • Aluminum cans: soda & beer cans
  • Tin cans: pet food, soup, beans, aluminum foil, etc.
  • Plastics #1: - soda and water bottles WITH CAPS REMOVED
  • Plastics #2: - Milk jugs, etc. (rinsed)
  • Plastics #3 - 7: NO soft plastic
  • Newspaper: newspaper and inserts
  • Magazines, mixed paper & office paper: junk mail, cereal and cracker boxes, etc. NO waxed paper boxes (boxes that can get wet ie. beer carriers, frozen food boxes, etc.)
  • Corrugated cardboard: MUST be broken down/flattened. (NO pizza boxes or waxed cardboard)
  • Fluorescent light bulbs
  • Rechargeable batteries
